June 20, 2017, the faculty members of the department of mathematics and methods of its teaching met with their colleagues from Poland and the Czech Republic working on IRNet, an international research project on the study and development of new tools and methods for advanced pedagogical science based on ICT, e-learning and intercultural competences (International Research Network for the study and development of new tools and methods for advanced pedagogical science in the fields of ICT tools, e-learning and intercultural competences. The project coordinator, Eugenia Trybulska, informed about the goal, tasks and results of the project on a team of scientists from Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and other countries. The participants of the project, Anna Zafranska-Haidzika, Andrzej Zurec and Barbara Hrabovska, talked about the subjects of their research within the framework of this project.

The meeting was also attended by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, head of the department of physics O. R. Gohman and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, deputy dean of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics L.S. Smetanina, who spoke about problems related to the preparation of future teachers of physics and computer science.
