The Educational and Cultural Center of the Confucius Institute of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky has greeted Odessa citizens with the Day of the City.

September 2, 2018, the teachers and students of the University Center organized a photo exhibition "Know China with Us" in the Odessa City Garden, conducted a competition on comparing the landmarks of Odessa and the city of Harbin, as well as a master class on hieroglyphics during which taught holiday guests to write Chinese greetings from the birthday of Southern Palmyra.
