On November 16, 2019, at the Confucius Institute of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, the All-Ukrainian Training for Chinese Volunteers was held for the third time. The trainers from universities and schools, as well as students, participated in the opening ceremony. Co-directors of the Confucius Institute, Olexandra Popova and Ms. Tsun Chengyu addressed the audience with a welcome speech.

During the trainings, volunteer teachers were introduced: new areas of the Chinese language teaching in primary and secondary schools; peculiarities of teaching the Ukrainians of all kinds of speech activity (listening, speaking, reading, writing); technologies of teaching phonetics, grammar, vocabulary; methodological aspects of preparation of Ukrainian students / students for the YCT / HSK (K) exams; specifics of Ukrainian-Chinese cross-cultural communication; ways of overcoming life and psychological difficulties while working in the education system; introduction of modern methods of teaching Chinese, as well as ways of professional improvement of teachers, etc. upon the completion of the work, participants exchanged experiences, demonstrated the Chinese language teaching skills as a foreign language, discussed major learning difficulties and identified ways to overcome them.
