On the eve of the International Day for Tolerance, which is celebrated annually on November 16 at the library of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, a reflection hour “Tolerance - the Way to Peace” was held.

The event has been attended by the students in the specialties "Management of Social and Cultural Activity", "Cultural Studies" and "Philosophy", Head of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Social and Cultural Activity, Professor, Doctor of Philosophy, Yevhen Ruslanovych Boristein and specialists of the library.

During the event the issues of the role of tolerance for the modern society have been discussed. The librarians have told the audience that the university library is a territory of tolerance, that is, an open system where anyone can go.
