Students of Ushynsky University find a unique plate with an inscription on behalf of the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire

In January 2020, a group of students of history of 1-2 year of studing, led by the head of the department, Doctor of Historical Sciences, A.V. Krasnozhon, worked in the funds of the Odesa Archaeological Museum (together with the staff of the institution) on a project to systematize the epigraphic collection. About 350 monuments of the epigraphy of antiquity and the Middle Ages, originating from the excavations of the ruins of the ancient cities of the Northern Black Sea and Crimea, as well as from the Italian and Turkish cities of the south of modern Ukraine, have been identified and cataloged.
