On May 26, 2020, the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration of Ushynsky University joined the Round Table "Five Years of Decentralization: Looking Forward" within the Science Festival, where the issues of formation and current implementation of decentralization policy in Ukraine were discussed. The event was held online. It was organized by the Department of Public Administration and Regional Studies of the Odesa Regional Institute of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, the Odesa Institute of Social Technologies and the Public Network of Public Law and Administration UPLAN.

The round table was opened by Mykola Izha, Director of ORIDU NAPA under the President of Ukraine, Professor, Doctor of Political Sciences.

One of the key issues at the Round Table was Oleg Dolzhenkov's report "Decentralization in Education: How Dreamed and How It Fulfilled", Head of the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration at Ushynsky University, Doctor of Political Sciences.

Andriy Krupnyk, Director of the Odesa Institute of Social Technologies, Associate Professor, Candidate of Political Science, summarized the results of the discussion. Ph.D., Associate Professor of Public Administration and Regional Studies ORIDU NAPA, regional coordinator of the UPLAN network.
