The department of theory and methodology of physical culture and sports and university sports club organized and conducted a meeting of students of 1 and 2 years of studying of the faculties of physical education and physical rehabilitation with the participant of the Olympic Games in 2008 and 2012, the numerous winner of European athletics, a graduate of our university (2006),  master of sports of international class Valentyna Horpynych.

The students were very interested in the difference between the preparation of the Ukrainian national team of athletics and the preparation of leading national teams of other states, such as the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Jamaica, athletic load regimes, proper nutrition during preparation and in the period of competitions, peculiarities of climate-based training conditions, prospects for the development of athletics in Ukraine and the world, etc.
