Спільні науково-дослідні проекти за участі України та США

Міністерство освіти і науки України спільно з Фондом цивільних досліджень і розвитку (CRDF Global) оголосили конкурс спільних українсько-американських науково-дослідних проектів за програмою «Спільні наукові проекти» - 2017 U.S.-Ukraine Agricultural Research Competition. Розмір гранту - до 107 тисяч доларів США . Дедлайн - 31 липня 2017 року (далі - англ.).

2017 U.S. – UKRAINE AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH COMPETITION

CRDF Global is pleased to announce the launch of the 2017 U.S.-Ukraine Agricultural Research Competition. Proposals will be accepted in any area of the natural sciences (biology, chemistry, earth sciences, engineering, mathematics, and physics) as they relate to basic and non-commercial applied research in the following two sub-topics:

Sustainable Farming Practices – including soil and water management to prevent environmental degradation from industrial farming or enhance crop resiliency to changing environmental factors
Agricultural Biotechnology – including genetic engineering, molecular markers and diagnostics, and plant tissue culture among other agritech topics that may improve crop productivity while contributing to the environmental sustainability of agricultural land

Awards of up to $107,000 ($50,000 from CRDF Global for each U.S. and Ukrainian sub-team and $7,000 USD equivalent paid in the national currency of Ukraine for the Ukrainian sub-team) will be made for 1 year of research.

All proposals must be submitted in two formats: electronically through CRDF Global’s Electronic Proposal Submission (EPS) website, no later than Monday, July 31st 2017 (23:59) U.S. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) and in hard copy and electronic format via flash drive to the Ministry of Education and Science, Ukraine.
