On June 1, 2023, an online meeting was held in the format of the training "Threats in cyberspace: phishing, scams, fake news; protection of children in cyberspace" for students of the 2nd-4th year of education of the Faculty of Social and Humanities and all interested parties
The speaker of the event was:
- Ilnytska Larysa Anatolyivna, senior lecturer of the department of theory and methods of practical psychology, who highlighted such concepts as: sexting, online grooming and fake news, and also drew the attention of future teachers to the importance of protecting children in cyberspace.
22 registered participants joined and took an active part, including students of the 2d-4th year of education of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and scientific and pedagogical workers
This event is carried out within the framework of the project (Information Security: Media Literacy in Wartime) with the support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) project "Media Program in Ukraine", which is implemented by the international organization Internews. This program strengthens Ukrainian media and expands access to quality information.
The training program "Information literacy in wartime conditions: challenges and confrontations" for scientific and pedagogical workers, graduate students and all interested parties is organized by the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky" on the basis of the South Ukrainian Center for the Professional Development of Managers and Specialists in the Socioeconomic Field within the project "Information Security: Media Literacy in Wartime Conditions" with the support of the International Charitable Foundation "Academy of the Ukrainian Press".
