On June 5, 2023, an offline meeting was held in the format of the training "Threats in cyberspace: phishing, scams, fake news; protection of children in cyberspace" for students of the 1st year of study of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and everyone else.
The speaker of the event was:
- Kateryna Ihorivna KOVAL, senior lecturer at the Department of Theory and Methodology of Practical Psychology, who highlighted such concepts as: sexting, online grooming and fake news, and also drew the attention of future teachers and psychologists to the importance of protecting children in cyberspace.
52 registered participants joined and took an active part, including representatives of the university's student council, students of the 1st year of study at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.
This event is carried out within the framework of the project (Information Security: Media Literacy in Wartime) with the support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) project "Media Program in Ukraine", which is implemented by the international organization Internews. This program strengthens Ukrainian media and expands access to quality information.
