On October 4, 2023, the second offline training "Basic techniques and skills in communication" was held for graduate students, teaching assistants, trainee teachers, and young specialists of Ushynsky University. He organized the Southern Ukrainian Center for the Professional Development of Managers and Socioeconomic Specialists with the support of IsraAID within the framework of the "Psychological Support" project.
The speaker of the training "Basic techniques and skills in communication" was Maryna Ryzhova, a specialist in the psychosocial support program.
During the event "Skills of effective communication" for professionals is aimed at improving the quality of communication. At this event, various types of communication and its manifestations were considered, in the form of active listening, non-verbal communication and others. To better consolidate different types of communication, training participants played psychological games, did exercises with metaphorical associative cards and shared feedback about feelings and emotions.
