On November 30, 2023, a joint meeting of the scientific sections "Sociology" (leader - Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor of Ushynsky University Olena LISEYENKO), "Philosophy" (leader - Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of I.I. Mechnikov National University Inna GOLUBOVYCH), "Psychology" was held » (head – Nataliya RODINA, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor of I. I. Mechnikov National University) House of scientists, which is dedicated to his 100th anniversary.
The Odesa House of Scientists, which for reasons known to all cannot now open its doors hospitably, went on a symbolic tour of the universities and scientific institutions of Odesa. Our university was the first to hospitably invite to hold a meeting of the scientific section. The historian of science, local expert, archivist of the Odessa House of Scientists Inna RIKUN spoke at the meeting with the report "Famous names: the history of the House of Scientists in the personalities of scientists." It was extremely interesting to learn about little-known facts about the biographies and scientific activities of Odesa scientists, the history of scientific sections, and to listen to an incredible poem by Yurii Mykhailik. After the speaker's story about how the scientific sections and unions of the House of Scientists, destroyed during the period of terror, were revived in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1990s, we were once again convinced that science in Odesa will live on.
