February 15 - the date of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan - became the Day of Commemoration of all participants in hostilities on the territory of other states. Today, on the 35th anniversary, we pay tribute to the courage and heroism of the Afghan soldiers and their comrades, who performed their difficult mission in more than twenty countries around the world.
Students and teachers of Ushynsky University joined the celebration of this date to honor the memory of the participants in the hostilities. Curatorial hours were held among students of the first year of study at the round table "The price of someone else's war", etc.
Although time is inexorable, we must not forget these important deeds. Since 2014, veterans of the Afghan war have been using their experience to protect the territorial integrity of Ukraine and passing this experience on to younger generations. Many of them have proven themselves in the ATO, JFO, and now continue to defend state sovereignty during a full-scale invasion
In deep respect, we bow our heads to the memory of those who died, giving their lives for peace and security. Let their courage and dedication always be an example to us, and let their coordinated actions be an eternal memory in our hearts.
