Taras Shevchenko's creativity has excited and will always excite the souls of readers. Lina Kostenko aptly noted:
"There was not yet an era for poets,
But there were poets for the eras."
Taras Shevchenko is a poet of the epochs who affirmed the ideas of humanism, which means Love, Beauty, Good and Truth. Two centuries have passed since Kobzar's birthday, and yet the poet is here, next to us. He inspires, inspires, because every word of his is a golden amulet for us. His love for his native land, prophetic words, faith in the best are a source of inspiration for all Ukrainians. Enlightened by Kobzar's work, 2nd-year students of the Faculty of History and Philology, Ibrahim Elen and Puskas Maryna, wrote the poems "The Poet" and "Shevchenko's Words" (Pavlyuk N.L., PhD in Philology, the curator, teacher of the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literatures).
