On April 9, 2025, students of Ushynsky University, studying in the educational programs "Management of an Educational Institution" and "Public Management and Administration", under the leadership of Associate Professor of the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration Tetyana Grzybovska, took an active part in an online event on the topic "The Right to Freedom of Expression and Information, Combating Illegal Harmful Content, Disinformation in the Digital Space".
The event was held within the framework of the implementation of the international project Jeanne Monnet Module "Digital Transformation of Rights: EU Experience", which is aimed at raising awareness among young people about current challenges in the field of digital human rights.
The lecturer was Olena Chernenko, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Management, Administration and Law of National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic». In her speech, she highlighted the EU's modern approaches to protecting the right to freedom of speech, the challenges associated with the spread of disinformation, and the role of the state and civil society in ensuring a safe digital environment. The students actively participated in the discussion and exchange of views on the extreme relevance of the topic in modern conditions.
