On October 10, 2025, the Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky will host an interactive event “Year of Care and Support” dedicated to World Mental Health Day.
The event aims to draw the attention of the academic community to the problems of mental well-being, increase the level of psychological culture and develop self-support skills among students and teachers.
This year's event has a special symbolic meaning - the Center for Mental Health celebrated the first anniversary of its activities. Since its opening, the Center has become a platform for interdisciplinary interaction, psychological support and educational initiatives aimed at forming a culture of mental well-being in the university environment.
The participants have the opportunity to visit five interactive zones, including:
Art space - a territory of emotional expression through creativity;
Wall of reflections, where everyone can share their own thoughts about support, gratitude and care;
“2 Minutes of Peace” practices – short self-regulation techniques aimed at restoring internal balance;
“I Care About Myself” photo zone;
Lecture hall is a place for open communication with the Center’s specialists, teachers and psychologists.
We invite students, scientific and pedagogical workers, psychologists and guests of the university to create an atmosphere of mutual support, openness and inspiration.
