June 10-11, 2018 to expand Ukrainian-Korean cooperation, under the auspices of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine, Mr. Lee Young-Gu, the delegation of Chonbuk National University visited South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky.
Chobuk National University of is a powerful academic center of the Republic of Korea, which has a 70-year history. In the Korean institution of higher education, based on 116 faculties, there are 32,000 students and 1050 professors.

On June 11, at the meeting with the Rector of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky, academician O. Ya. Chebikin, the Korean University was represented by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, professor, representative of the Department of International Affairs of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea       Mrs. Yon Mjongsuk; Head of the Department of International Projects and Programs,           Ph.D., Professor Cho Quang Min; Professor, Coordinator of the International Relations Department Mrs. Eugenia Tshai.
The memorandum of understanding between Ukrainian and Korean universities has been signed during the meeting.
Foreign guests also have attended the Faculty of Foreign Languages, got acquainted with the work of the recently opened Educational Information and Cultural Center of the Republic of Korea, at Ushynsky University.
