September 13, 2018, within the framework of expanding international academic cooperation, South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky was visited by the member of the Polish Pedagogical Society, the Secretary of the Polish Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, Doctor of Humanities, Professor Jerzy Nikitorkovich, Department of Intercultural Education of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of the University in Bialystok (Poland).

During the meeting of the Rector of Ushynsky University Academician Olexii Yakovlevich Chebykin with the Polish scientists the first steps towards the establishment of partnerships between higher education institutions have been taken, in particular the implementation of further programs of double diplomas, the launching of joint research, the organization of symposia and conferences, the exchange of scientific information, etc.
