October 3-5, 2018, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Higher Education in Modern Digital Space: Challenges and Prospects" was held at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky. The conference has been held jointly with Ariel University (Arriel, Israel) on the basis of the Educational Center for Information, Education and Culture of the State of Israel at the University with the support of the Israeli Cultural Center (Odessa). More than 30 scholars from Ukraine, Israel, Poland and Spain have taken part at the conference.

The participants of the forum were congratulated by the Rector of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, Academician Oleksii Chebykin and the First Secretary of the Embassy of Israel in Ukraine, Mrs. Ilona Khilkovska. The honorable guests of the conference were Prof. Nitsa Davidovych – Head of the Center for the Assessment of the Quality of Education at the University of Ariel and participants from Poland - Professor Piotr Olesiewicz and Julita Markiewicz-Patkovska. The particular interest of the participants at the conference has been caused by poster presentations, during which the speakers presented their visual projects.
