According to the decision of the Odesa regional council of August 10, 2020 №1336-VII Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Honored worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Rector of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky was awarded a title "Honorary Citizen of Odesa region".
