During August-September 2020, South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky held advanced training courses under the program "Academic integrity and scientific communication of teachers in the digital age" in the amount of 90 hours (3 ECTS credits), organized by the Regional Information resource center for professional development of managers and specialists in the field of socionomics and the Library of Ushynsky University.

The training program included lectures and practical classes on topical issues of intellectual property, academic integrity, interpretation of similarity reports, open electronic archives, scientometric tools of the researcher, digital profiles (Orcid, Publons, Google Scholar) and reference managers (Mendeley, Endnote).

Students of the course - research and teaching staff of Ushynsky University and teachers of higher education in Odessa, acquired and improved practical skills in registering copyright for a scientific work, analysis of scientific text for signs of academic plagiarism, use of modern digital services to establish effective scientific communication.

The lecturer of the courses was the director of the library, candidate of pedagogical sciences Valentyna Vizniuk.
