On November 4, 2020, the Department of Political Science and Law within the framework of the cooperation agreement between Ushynsky University and Uzhhorod National University organized a guest lecture by Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Mykola Mykhailovych Palinchak on "Basic Fundamentals of European Law" for university graduates, majoring in specialties 081 Law, 052 Political Science, 281 Public Administration, 073 Management, 028 Management of socio-cultural activities, 034 Culturology.

The lecturer focused on Roman law as the basis of civil law in most countries of the world and Europe in particular, as well as the impact of ecclesiastical and canon law on the family in matters of regulation of family and marriage relations.
