On June 14, 2021, at the invitation of the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Culture and Sports Disciplines on the basis of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation of Ushynsky University, the coach of the All-Ukrainian Federation of Military Sports All-Around O.A. Bashavets held a guest lecture “History and development of shooting sports” for students of 2 years of study of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, specialty 017 Physical culture and sports.

During the lesson the problems and prospects of development of national and world archery, modern methods of training archers were discussed.
