On October 21, master's students of the second year of training of the Faculty of History and Philology within the scope of studying the selective discipline "Media Culture and Mass Media" (course manager - Associate Professor Zh. D. Horina) joined the online participation in the VIII International Scientific and Practical Seminar "Text and Image : features of interaction between narrative and visuality. Images of War", organized by the Department of Art History of Taras Shevchenko National University. 

On October 20, 2022, a meeting of the Council of the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute" was held online. Partners from Harbin University of Engineering evaluated the work of the Center for 2021. Despite the continuation of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and hostilities in Ukraine, the "Confucius Institute" continued to actively function on improved digital platforms and achieved significant results in the fields of culture, education and science.

On October 20-21, teachers and students of the Faculty of History and Philology took part in the long-awaited scientific and informational event of this fall for the entire philological and media community of Ukraine "Crimean International Forum: Philology and Journalism", organized by the Department of Slavic Philology and Journalism of the National Institute of Philology and Journalism V. I. Vernadsky Taurida National University.

On October 19, a meeting of student self-government was held at the University of Ushinsky with the Rector of the University Krasnozhon Andriy Vasyliovych.

For the Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine, a patriotic and educational event was held on the teams platform. The students of the first year of the Faculty of History and Philology under the leadership of the teacher of the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literature Pavlyuk N.L. took an active part in its organization. In the introduction to the presentation, the history of the holiday and its significance was told, poetry was recited, and a poster was drawn with words of thanks to our defenders.

On October 18, 2022, an online meeting was held on the Teams platform with vice-rector for research work Hanna Vyacheslavivna Muzychenko and head of the postgraduate and doctoral studies department Iryna Anatoliivna Khizhnyak with the 1st-year postgraduate students.

On October 18, 2022, the International scientific and practical conference "Social capital - the basis of the consolidation of society" took place and was held in a remote format on the Zoom platform. The organizers are the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Sociocultural Activities of Ushinsky University (Head – Prof. Yevhen Borinshtein), the Southern Ukrainian Branch of the Sociological Association of Ukraine (Chairman – Prof. Olena Liseyenko) and the Association of Sociologists and Demographers of the Republic of Moldova (Head – Victor Mocanu, Doctor of Sociology).
