November 22, 2018, in Bilhorod-Dnistovsky, Odesa region, a vocational guidance session was conducted on the basis of the pedagogical school - a presentation of the Faculty of Music and Choreography of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky. Associate professor O.Yu. Gorozhankina introduced the entrants with the specialties on which the students are trained, the peculiarities of educational and creative work at the faculty, the rules of admission to the university. The graduates of the college and students received detailed information about the benefits of studying at Ushynsky University, acquainted with the powerful scientific potential, prospects of employment after graduating from the Faculty of Music and Choreography.

November 20, an educational event dedicated to the memory of victims of the Holodomor was held by the lecturer of the Department of Political Sciences and Law Palazova Tatyana Mykhaylivna with the participation of the students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography, specialties “Law and political science”, as well as the lecturers of the Department of Political Sciences and Law. Memory is an endless book in which everything is written: both human life and life of the country. Our most sacred duty today is to preserve the memory of all the dead.

November 17-18, 2018, within the framework of preparation and implementation of joint Ukrainian-Chinese educational, scientific and cultural projects, meetings of the Rector of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, Academician Olexii Ya. Chebykin, with the First Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine Mr. Wang Dujun, Third Secretary of the Embassy Mr. Liu Tai, Newly-appointed Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Odesa, Mr. Sun Lijun, Consul-General of the PRC in Odesa, Ms. Chen Yuyuzun, Consul General for Education and Culture Ms. Yu Zhouulin, People's Republic of China.

November 17-18, 2018, the All-Ukrainian Training "Improving the Qualifications of Volunteers from the People's Republic of China" was held on the basis of the "Confucius Institute" of Ushynsky University. Foreign trainers from the Chinese language of educational institutions of Ukraine became participants.

November 15, 2018, the Day of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​was held at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky. The professional orientation event has been attended by high school students and teachers of secondary schools of Odesa region.

November 15, 2018, the students of Ushynsky University met with the deputy of Odesa City Council Iireremiia Vasyl Volodymyrovych. It’s been a great opportunity for students to frankly talk with local politicians about the peculiarities of the implementation of parliamentary activities, the ways and mechanisms of interaction of the deputy with the city authorities, work in the district and local politics.
