Today's requirements for obtaining high-quality higher education encourage the use of new approaches in education. One of them is the involvement of invited specialists in the educational process with the aim of better assimilation of educational material by students and activation of the creative process.

On June 1, 2023, a guest lecture was held at the Faculty of Music and Choreography as part of the pre-diploma practice on the topic "Peculiarities of the technical digitization of magnetic tapes (on the material of the archive of audio recordings of the Ukrainian Free University)", which was for students of the second (master's) level of higher education in specialty 025 Musical art was

conducted by Cherepanyn Myron Vasyliovych, Doctor of art history, Professor of the department of Ukrainian musical studies and folk-instrumental art of Vasyl Stefanyk Prykarpatian National University, honored artist of Ukraine. The lecturer familiarized those present with a comprehensive study of the system of stylistic, figurative-thematic and interpretive interaction and mutual influence of the components of the artistic sphere of the functioning of the Ukrainian diaspora throughout the 20th and up to the beginning of the 21st century.
