On June 6, 2023, an offline meeting was held in the format of the "Media Literacy in the Conditions of War" training for students of the 1st year of study at the Faculty of Primary Education and all interested parties.

Speakers of the event were:

Olena Viktorivna PASKAL, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogical Technologies of Primary Education, PhD in Pedagogy

Which considered the concept of media literacy; learned to distinguish between fake and true information; determined the features of fakes; learned to distinguish between the concepts of "informing" and "propaganda"; they talked about information manipulation; determined the importance of the time required for effective work with information.

49 registered participants joined and actively participated, including students of the 1st year of study at the Faculty of Primary Education.

This event is carried out within the framework of the project (Information Security: Media Literacy in Wartime) with the support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) project "Media Program in Ukraine", which is implemented by the international organization Internews. This program strengthens Ukrainian media and expands access to quality information.
