On February 16, 2024, the dissertations of postgraduate students of the Department of Pedagogy of Ushynsky University Wang Wei (scientific supervisor - Professor Iryna Palshkova) and Iryna Shyman (scientific supervisor - Associate Professor Olha Halitsan) were successfully defended. The young researchers mastered the educational and scientific program "Professional Education" (guarantor - Professor Tetyana Osypova) and obtained the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy. The head of one-time specialized academic councils (Professor Iryna Knyazheva), official opponents (Professors Volodymyr Cherkasov and Mykola Pichkur, Associate Professors Oleksandr Kuchai and Iryna Baranovska) and reviewers (Professor Tetyana Koycheva, Hanna Rebrova) noted the thoroughness, fundamentality and undeniable uniqueness and novelty of Iryna Shiman's research on the problem of forming the innovative competence of future music teachers and Van Wei on the problem of forming the artistic and pedagogical mentality of future fine art teachers.
