On May 1, the first working meeting of representatives of Ushynsky University and Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University (Telavi, Georgia) took place. The event took place in a friendly atmosphere and was marked by an active exchange of ideas and opportunities for cooperation.
The event was attended by: vice-rector for international, social-humanitarian and scientific-pedagogical work Andrii Nachev, director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, Informatics and Management Nataliya Chernenko, head of the international relations department Oleksandra Morgun and coordinator of the center of international projects and programs Volodymyr Chernykh.
Tamar Aslanishvili, vice-rector for international activities of Telavi State University and Andrii Nachev, vice-rector for international, social, humanitarian and scientific-pedagogical work of Ushynsky University presented the universities.
After that, the representatives of both universities had the opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues, covering cooperation in the scientific and educational spheres. Special attention was paid to issues of academic mobility programs, organization of open and guest lectures, conducting summer scientific schools.
This meeting opens new horizons of cooperation between universities, contributing to the development of science and education of both countries.
