On May 8-23, classical basketball competitions were held as part of the XXXII regional student games among secondary schools of 2023/2024 academic year "STUDENT BASKETBALL LEAGUE OF UKRAINE".
The university's men's basketball team won championship status in fierce competition among 9 teams. Over the past 5 years, our university has been consistently in the top three, but this year it won the championship, defeating traditionally powerful rivals:
National University "Odesa Maritime Academy",
I.I. Mechnikov Odesa National University.
In the quarter-finals they beat the National University "Odesa Law Academy", in the semi-finals - the National University "Odesa Maritime Academy", and the final chord was the most difficult and brightest game with Odesa State Environmental University.
The final of the championship was very tense, the teams demonstrated a high level of preparation. Our team won with a score of 75:65 and won the Cup and gold awards thanks to the dedication of our athletes.
