On May 29, 2024, with the support of student self-government, a meeting of Ushynsky University students with the rector Andrii Krasnozhon took place.
During the conversation, the following important topics were discussed: improving the material and technical base of the university, involving students in career guidance, living in dormitories, forming a student's individual educational trajectory, creating the Ushynsky University Merch, the work of student self-government.
The rector noted that he is a graduate of our university. Andrii Vasyliovych emphasized that the main task of the students is conscientious study, for which the administration creates all the necessary conditions, including security issues. The university provides many additional opportunities for self-development and realization of one's own potential, however, without the desire of the student himself, no opportunity can be realized. Therefore, the main task of every student is to study.
In his speech, Andrii Vasyliovych talked about the peculiarities and rules of living in the university dormitories, drew attention to the residents' compliance with safety techniques, and emphasized the importance of the work of student self-government in the dormitories.
The rector suggested organizing informal meetings with students more often, and noted that he is open to any student initiatives.
At the end, the head of the student self-government, Kateryna Koziy, sincerely thanked the rector for his openness and sincere conversation.
