On August 28, within the framework of the Erasmus + TURBO international project (101129315-TURBO-Erasmus-EDU-2023-CBHE), the webinar "Education of Internally Displaced Persons in Ukraine: current needs and ways for Ukrainian universities to address them" was held.
The ongoing war in Ukraine has resulted in a significant number of internally displaced persons (IDPs), creating urgent educational needs and challenges. Ukrainian universities are at the forefront of solving these issues, developing innovative courses and programs to support IDPs in further education and integration into new communities.
During the webinar, project executors discussed the current educational needs of IDPs in Ukraine and explored how Ukrainian universities can effectively develop and implement new micro-courses and programs to meet these needs. Through a series of presentations and discussions, key challenges and best practices for improving educational support for IDPs were identified.
