On September 12, 2024, the students of the 2nd year of specialty 025 Musical Art visited the Museum of Western and Eastern Art as part of the study of the discipline "Methodical foundations of teaching musical art in out-of-school education institutions" (Assoc. Prof. Horozhankina O.Yu.). During the practical lesson, which took place in the format of an excursion, students learned about the history of the creation of the Museum of Western and Eastern Art, which turned 100 years old in early June, visited the exhibitions "Foreign Theater Poster" and "Investments in Eternity", which presents gifts from collectors for many decades of the museum's existence. During the excursion, the winners also got acquainted with the work of the writer and artist Ihor Pototsky, whose hand-made books are presented in the libraries of Harvard University and Berkeley University, the Paris Gallery "Saphir", the National Library of France, the Paris Museum of Art and History of Judaism, Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, Warsaw Public Library and other book collections. The students were particularly interested in the works of teachers and graduates of the Faculty of Art and Graphics of our university, presented in the exhibition "60 years of the Faculty".
