In 2013 the unique plates were found by the historian and the author of the book "Fortress of Belgorod" Akkerman", the head of the Department of History of Ukraine at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Andriy Krasnozhon.

As the historian said, plates are the only unique written document, clearly confirming the date of construction of the fortress.

The idea of the installation belongs to Andriy Krasnozhon.
