On March 12, 2025, the Faculty of Music and Choreography was visited by Oleh SUBBOTIN, the Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine, head of the M. Goloshchapov BIG BAND, methodologist of the highest category of the Odesa Professional College of Arts named after K. F. Dankevych in the class of saxophone, improvisation, ensemble. During the lecture, students of specialties 025 Musical Art and 014 Secondary Education (Musical Art) had the opportunity to get acquainted with the features of swing notation, stylistic nuances of various directions of jazz music and, most importantly, enjoy live improvisation.

Jazz is not just music, it is a dialogue!
