On March 18, 2025, as part of the Integrity Week at Ushynsky University, a session was held with applicants and teachers of the Social and Humanities Faculty on the topic "Compliance with Anti-Corruption Legislation in the Sphere of Higher Education". The event was organized by Serhii Leonidovych DEREVIANKIN, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Sciences and Law, the Head of the authorized unit for the prevention and detection of corruption of the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky".
The session was held separately for students of all levels of higher education and scientific and pedagogical stuff at the Faculty of Social Studies and Humanities, which allowed taking into account the specifics of each audience and conveying the main aspects of anti-corruption legislation as effectively as possible. During the meeting, the key provisions of regulatory legal acts in the field of corruption prevention, liability for corruption offenses, as well as mechanisms for combating corruption risks in higher education institutions were considered.
Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of ensuring academic integrity and forming a culture of transparency in the educational process. The participants of the event had the opportunity to ask questions and receive comprehensive answers from the expert.
The session was held in an open and constructive atmosphere, which contributed to active discussion and involvement of participants in the discussion. Ushynsky University continues to implement measures to increase the legal awareness of students and teachers, aimed at establishing the principles of integrity and legality in the field of education.
