On March 24, 2025, within the framework of the university's "Guest Lecturer" program, a lecture was held by Liliia Ivanivna Yakovleva, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor of the Department of Sociology of the National University "Odesa Law Academy" on the topic "Political Analysis and Consulting: Sociological Methods in the Assessment and Forecasting of Political Processes".
The initiator of the lecture was Inna Ivanivna Pronoza, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Sciences and Law, guarantor of the educational program of the EPP "Political Science. Ukrainian and European Political Studies" within the framework of the implementation of the academic discipline "Political Analysis and Consulting" for first-year students of the second (master's) level of higher education. The lecture had a binary nature, which contributed to its interdisciplinary nature and analytical depth.
The guest lecturer revealed in detail the role of sociological research in modern political consulting, showing how sociological data help determine public sentiment, predict electoral trends and make strategic political decisions. Of particular interest were examples of real cases that demonstrated the effectiveness of methods in election campaigns, political risk analysis and development of political strategies.
The significance of this lecture for the educational program is extremely important, contributing to the formation of political analysis and consulting competencies in applicants, which are necessary for successful professional activity in the field of political management and analytics.
