For more than three years, South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky has been cooperating with the Slobidka settlement community of the village of Tymkovo, Podolsk district, Odesa region. The meetings with children take place during the holidays (spring, summer, autumn, winter). Thanks to persistent cooperation, folk traditions develop in a cultural and leisure environment. It is from positive leisure that positive habits emerge, which later grow into customs and traditions. The specialists of the community and Ushynsky University conduct classes with children living in this area and children who are forced to temporarily relocate during martial law in Ukraine.
Trainings, conversations, art therapy, master classes, games, exercises are presented in an interesting and unconventional way. Interactive classes are the key to children's hearts, captivating students with useful things, making them proactive, active people.
The events are attended (remotely) by the students of specialty 231 "Social Work", Department of Pedagogical Technologies of Primary Education. The events are held within the framework of the disciplines: ("Volunteer Movement in Ukraine", "Street Social Work", "Organization of Social and Pedagogical Training" by Candidate of Sciences, Associate Professor Veronika LEONOVA.
