As part of the study of the discipline "Emotional and Professional Burnout" for the 2nd year students of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the specialty 053 Psychology of the EPP Psychology, a guest lecture was held on the topic "Emotional and Professional Burnout: Manifestations, Phases and Consequences". The speaker was Maia HRINKO, a colonel of the civil defense service, who for seven years headed the psychological service of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Odesa region. Maia HRINKO is currently the author and lecturer of courses on the psychology of trauma and emotional burnout. The lecture discussed a wide range of issues that are of professional interest to psychology students. Thus, it was about the causes and consequences of emotional burnout, its prevention and correction. The very important and relevant information presented by the psychologist will be useful to higher education students in their professional activities.
