On Wednesday, April 3, 2025, the higher education students and teachers of Ushynsky University took part in the round table "THE ROLE OF STATISTICAL INFORMATION IN THE MODERN INFORMATION SOCIETY. STATISTICAL DATA - THE BASIS FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH", which is being held for the second time within the framework of the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the Main Department of Statistics in Odesa region and Ushynsky University.
Thanks to such cooperation, the higher education students and scientists have the opportunity to learn about the channels for obtaining relevant statistical information and the possibilities of its use in scientific research.
The postgraduate students and master’s degree students received comprehensive information from the head of the information dissemination and communication department of the State Educational Service of Odesa region Dina POLOVINKINA and her deputy Natalia KAMINOVSKA about the information capabilities of the institution under martial law, the main aspects of the formation and dissemination of statistical information, and ensuring data confidentiality. The deputy head of the information and analytical work department Lyudmila ROMANOVA reported on state statistical observations on education, and head of the visual communications and image products sector Iryna PUGACHOVA spoke about about the possibilities of using statistical products in the educational process and scientific research.
