As part of the cooperation of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, on April 24, 2025, a meeting of teachers and students with students of grades 9-10 of Odesa Lyceum No. 49 took place.
Trubitsyna Olha Mykhailivna, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of German Philology and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages, introduced the lyceum students to the history of the pedagogical university and the origins and development of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
Boshkov Andrii Valeriiovych, a postgraduate student and lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages, presented the areas of study at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and also acquainted students with specialty 014.021 Secondary Education. English Language and Foreign Literature, the features of studying in the specialty, in particular, he drew attention to the combination of thorough philological training with the methodology of teaching English and foreign literature in secondary education institutions. A pleasant surprise for the lyceum students was the story of English teachers, graduates of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Myroshnychenko H.O. and Maksymova M.O. about studying at our university.
The third-year students held an interactive session with lyceum students.
