In order to activate the research activities of higher education applicants, popularize scientific work and support the best student scientific initiatives, Ushynsky University has announced a competition for the best scientific circle (problem group).
The event will be held in accordance with the Regulations on the Student Scientific Circle (Problem Group), approved by the decision of the Academic Board of Ushynsky University (Minutes No. 8 dated March 24, 2022), as well as on the basis of the order of the Rector of Ushynsky University No. 113-нд dated May 6, 2025.
The competition will be held in two stages during May 12–23, 2025:
Stage I (nomination) - May 12-16. At this stage, the heads of scientific circles (problem groups) submit application materials to the competition commission. The responsible person is Lystopad O. Stage II (presentation) – May 19-23. Open events will be held (presentations, defenses of the groups’ work, discussions – during which the winners will be determined).
The competition includes three nominations designed to recognize the best student scientific associations:
“The Most Creative Group” – for a non-standard approach, creativity and originality in scientific activity;
“Science in Action” – for the best practical implementation of scientific research results;
“Innovative Idea of the Year” – for the most promising innovative development or concept.
The competition is not only a competition, but also a platform for exchanging ideas, supporting young scientists and recognizing those who shape the scientific future of the university. Everyone who is interested will be able to attend presentation events and get acquainted with the most interesting student research.
