The best students of the specialty "Political Science" of the Department of Political Science and Law of the University (TARHONINA MARIA, PISKUN KATERYNA, PEŻTERIEVA OLHA) successfully implemented international academic mobility within the framework of the STUDY TOURS TO POLAND program, organized by Polish partners - Fundacja BORUSSIA and Fundacja, Liderzy Przemian". This mobility was carried out on the initiative of the Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and Law, Candidate of Political Science PRONOZYA INNA IVANIVNA, who was the head - organizer and accompanied the students from the beginning of registration for participation in the international competition for selection to the program, direct participation and until its completion.
Preliminarily, the students passed the international competitive selection in January 2025, organized by Polish partners, according to the results of which and the corresponding decision of the international competition commission, the best and most promising applicants passed all stages of selection and were selected to participate in international mobility in the spring 2025 to Poland.
The participants of the program were higher education students at the bachelor's and master's levels:
Maria Targonina, a first-year master's student who implemented mobility in the city of Warsaw, organized by Federacja Mazowia.
Kateryna Piskun, a fourth-year bachelor's student who participated in the program in the city of Bielsko-Biała, organized by Fundacja Edukacji Pozaformalnej.
Olha Peshterieva, a third-year bachelor's student who implemented mobility in the city of Lublin, organized by Fundacja Kultury Duchowej Pogranicza.
The program of each visit was aimed at familiarizing students with various aspects of the functioning of modern Poland, including the work of central, regional and local administration bodies, economic, political and social development, the education system, the activities of public organizations, the media, small and medium-sized businesses, as well as the development of modern Polish culture and the preservation of cultural and historical heritage. An important aspect was also the study of the experience of Poland's membership in the EU and the development personal competencies of the program participants, which is extremely valuable for Ukraine on its path to European integration and approximation to EU standards.
This international mobility program lasted for more than two months and took place in a mixed format, including distance sessions and face-to-face visits to Poland. The students adequately represented their university and the specialty "Political Science", gaining invaluable experience in international communication and familiarization with the institutions of a neighboring country, which is an important element of modern political education.
Sincere gratitude is expressed to the partners from Polish organizations - Fundacja BORUSSIA, Fundacja "Liderzy Przemian", Federacja Mazowia, Fundacja Edukacji Pozaformalnej and Fundacja Kultury Duchowej Pogranicza - for the opportunity to implement international mobility and promote the development of the academic community.
