On May 23-25, 2025, the representatives of the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky" visited the city of Brașov (Romania). The delegation was headed by the Dean of the Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Olena Bulhakova, Head of the Department of Theory and Methods of Preschool Education, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Liudmyla Berezovska, and postgraduate student in specialty 053 Psychology Taisiia Beliaevska.
As part of the visit, they actively participated in the work of the international scientific and practical conference "Modern Approaches in Speech Therapy and Psychological and Pedagogical Consulting", one of the co-organizers of which was Ushynsky University. On the first day of the conference, Olena Bulhakova held a workshop “The Art of Teamwork: Effective Communication and Team Interaction”, in which she shared practical experiences and experiences of team cooperation in the educational environment, which aroused keen interest among participants from different countries.
During the conference, a number of constructive meetings were held with representatives of leading higher education institutions in Romania, during which agreements were reached on signing agreements on international cooperation, organizing joint scientific events, holding guest lectures, academic mobility of students and teachers, and implementing joint research projects.
Special attention was paid to interaction with partner organizations that care for children from Ukraine, especially those who need individual psychological and pedagogical support. Representatives of the University took part in thematic meetings with local educators, volunteers and social specialists, discussed the prospects for creating joint programs of psychological and pedagogical assistance, in particular in the context of the integration of children into a new socio-cultural environment. Thanks to this visit, there not only was the inter-university partnership strengthened, but also new areas of interaction were launched in the field of training pedagogical personnel, supporting children with special educational needs, and developing European approaches in preschool education.
