On July 15, a solemn ceremony of awarding certificates to students of the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) preparation courses was held in Tbilisi, which were organized by South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky together with the CARE Caucasus Charitable Foundation with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia. The event was attended by honored guests and project partners:
• Ketevan Khachidze, Director of CARE Caucasus,
• Sofia Kamushadze, Program Director of CARE Caucasus,
• Anna Kvaratskhava, Project Officer of CARE Caucasus,
• Anatoliy Malyuska, Counselor of the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia,
• Tetyana Kolotilova, First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia,
• Volodymyr Chernykh, Coordinator of the Center for International Projects and Programs of Ushynsky University.
Ms. Ketevan Khachidze addressed the graduates with a insightful speech, in which she introduced the mission and values of CARE Caucasus, emphasizing the importance of supporting Ukrainian youth during the period of forced migration.
Anatolii Malyuska, in his speech, emphasized the exceptional role of this educational initiative in preserving the ties of the younger generation with Ukraine. He called the preparatory courses an “educational bridge” that Ushynsky University was able to build for Ukrainian teenagers in Georgia.
Ms. Sofia Kamushadze expressed sincere gratitude to the teachers for their professional and inspiring work: Valentyna Lazarenko, Olena Syniukova, Bohdana Avramenko, Olena Krasnozhon. It was they who ensured the high quality of training in the Ukrainian language, history, mathematics.
On behalf of the Rector of Ushynsky University, Professor Andrii Krasnozhon, and the Vice-Rector for Research, Professor Hanna Muzychenko, Volodymyr Chernykh addressed the students. He read out an address in which he noted the importance of the choice made by the participants and thanked the parents of the students for their trust and support, and also noted that an important component of the success of this project is the highly professional team of Ushynsky University, the people who brought this project to life: Andrii Krasnozhon, Hanna Muzychenko, Nataliia Malyarenko, Hanna Hryhorovych, Viktoriia Pasichnyk.
All students received Certificates of Participation from CARE Caucasus, Certificates of Completion of Courses from Ushynsky University, as well as memorable gifts that became symbols not only of success, but also of faith in the future.
It is especially inspiring that among the graduates of the courses there are young people who not only successfully passed the NMT, but already dream of studying at Ushynsky University, considering it as a space for realizing their professional and life ambitions.
This event was not only the result of the studies, but also a significant step towards the future - full of opportunities, development and faith in one's own strengths.
