On August 20–21, 2025, a strategic session “Education without Borders: Transformation through Digitalization” was held at Odesa Lyceum No. 84 at the initiative of the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council. The event brought together stakeholders in the education industry, scientists, leaders and teachers of educational institutions of the city, high school students and their parents. The focus was on the prospects for digitalization of education, modern innovations and practical steps for their implementation in schools.

Among the speakers and participants of the event are scientists and practitioners of the State Institution “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky”.
🔹 Natalia Chernenko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration, presented the results of the first stage of the all-Ukrainian innovative educational project "Robotic Design System in Computer Science Lessons in Basic School" (2024–2029).
🔹 The panel discussion "Maintaining Documentation of General Secondary Education Institutions in Electronic Form: Opportunities, Challenges and Ways to Overcome" was attended by Natalia Chernenko, Yaroslav Hapanovych, Candidate of Science in Public Administration, Associate Professor of the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration, and Volodymyr Chernykh, Candidate of Science in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics.
🔹 As part of the panel discussion "Artificial Intelligence in the Educational Process: Risk or New Opportunities?" Volodymyr Chernykh presented his thoughts; Viktor Korablev, Head of the Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and Vyacheslav Korablev, Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics.

Second Day: Creating a Roadmap
The second day of the session was dedicated to developing a roadmap for implementing the strategy for the digitalization of education in Odesa in key areas.
The strategic session became an important platform for exchanging experience and developing practical solutions for the digitalization of the city's educational space. The event identified guidelines for the integration of modern technologies and the formation of a holistic vision for the development of education in Odesa until 2030.
