On September 18, 2025, a meeting was held in the Educational Space "CreatED" with the participation of representatives of the Department of Education and Science of Odesa City Council, scientists of Ushynsky University and heads of institutions participating in the project. The university team presented the results of the I (organizational and preparatory) stage: a network of 13 schools was formed (12 - Odesa, 1 - the region), a series of intensive courses were held, the first typical lesson plans were prepared and methodological support was established, which is provided by the Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Systems of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Informatics and Management of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky.
At the same time, the opening of the II (conceptual and diagnostic) stage was announced, which involves:
1. development and theoretical substantiation of the concept and methodological system of teaching computer science using robotic design;
2. development and testing of educational and methodological, methodological and information support for participating schools;
3. determination of criteria, indicators, levels and conducting ongoing diagnostics of the effectiveness of the experimental part;
4. preparation of diagnostic tools and examples of typical lesson plans along the content lines of the basic computer science course;
5. monitoring of digital and pedagogical competence of teachers on the research problem;
6. testing and implementation of a methodological system for teaching computer science using robotic design;
7. summing up the results of the second stage.
We express our sincere gratitude to the Department of Education and Science of Odesa City Council, heads of educational institutions and teaching staff for their powerful positive agency in achieving innovations in education. Together, we continue to move towards qualitative changes that correspond to the values and goals of the New Ukrainian School.
