On October 9, 2025, the Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health of Ushynsky University gathered the student, academic and professional community for a unique event - an open meeting with Olha Litvinenko, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, psychotherapist, analytical psychologist, member of the Board of the World Association for Positive Psychotherapy (WAPP).
The event was held in a mixed format (offline + online broadcast), which allowed more than 100 participants to join.
The focus of the meeting was reflections on the challenges of a modern psychologist:
- How to maintain mental balance in a world of rapid change?
- Where to look for meaning and inspiration in the work of an assistant?
- What does it mean to “be human” in a profession that works with human vulnerability?
Particular attention was paid to the methodology of positive psychotherapy according to Pezeshkian, which became a key reference point in the speaker’s professional practice. Participants had the opportunity to hear about the internal logic of the method, examples of application and views on the future of psychotherapy in the global world.
A warm discussion took place during the meeting, during which guests asked questions, shared impressions and reflected on what they had heard.
This event is another step towards building an open psychological culture in the educational space of the university and developing a professional community capable of empathy, critical thinking and worthy service to a person.
Together we create a space of strength and support!
Sincerely,
Mental Health Center
