On October 15, 2025, a meaningful lecture on the topic “Digital Presence Culture: What a Future Teacher Should Know About Online Behavior” was held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, Informatics and Management at Ushynsky University, which was conducted by Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Kateryna Vitaliivna Khaletska.
During the meeting, second-level master's degree students from the A1 Educational Sciences, EPP “Pedagogy. Educational Institution Management” learned about the peculiarities of the culture of digital presence in the professional activities of a modern teacher; the algorithm for forming one's own positive digital image; the rules of online communication, participation in distance events and work on social networks; identified risks in the digital environment.
Special attention was paid to active and passive digital footprint. It is the digital footprint that becomes the basis of a person's reputation in the digital space, so any publication can affect the image of both the teacher and the educational institution he represents.
The event was an opportunity to reflect on the responsibility of each teacher in the digital environment and the importance of consciously forming one's own professional image online.
