On November 13, 2025, a guest lecture on the topical topic “All-Ukrainian Student Olympiads in Academic Subjects: History and Modernity” was held online, dedicated to World Science Day. The lecture was given by Serhiy Mykhailovych Saprikin, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Higher Mathematics and Statistics.
The event was extremely fruitful and meaningful, gathering a wide audience of the students majoring in Secondary Education (Mathematics), Secondary Education (Physics), Secondary Education (Informatics), as well as teachers.
During the lecture, the participants got acquainted with the formation and development of the history of subject Olympiads in Ukraine and the world, learned about their role in identifying and supporting talented youth. Modern approaches to organizing All-Ukrainian Olympiads, changes and innovations of the current academic year, as well as the features of holding international subject Olympiads were highlighted.
The participants noted the high level of presentation of the material, its practical significance and relevance. The meeting became an important stage in the professional training of students who associate their future with educational activities.
